Privacy Policy
AIAxon (“AIAxon”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a Google Sheets add-on designed to help users memorize Scripture through simple memory scenes and familiar locations.
We respect your privacy. AIAxon is designed to operate without creating user accounts, advertising profiles, analytics profiles, or a separate database of your Bible study content.
1. Information We Access
When you use AIAxon, the add-on may access information in the Google Sheet where you use it, such as:
- Bible book, chapter, verse and verse text displayed in the AIAxon workspace;
- Scene placeholders or keywords you enter;
- AI-generated memory scenes;
- Scene location names and related information that you choose to save.
This information is accessed only to provide the functionality you request. AIAxon does not operate a separate user account system and does not require you to create an AIAxon account.
2. Information We Collect
For the current version of AIAxon:
- We do not collect or maintain a list of user accounts.
- We do not collect your Google Account password.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- We do not use your Google Sheets content for advertising or profiling.
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics services in the AIAxon website or add-on.
- We do not maintain a separate online library of your saved scenes or locations.
Your saved scenes, placeholders, and locations are stored in the Google Sheet you use with AIAxon, including the AIAxon Library sheet created by the add-on.
3. Google User Data
AIAxon accesses Google Sheets data only when necessary to provide its core functionality. This may include reading and writing cells in the active spreadsheet and creating or maintaining the AIAxon workspace and library.
We use Google user data only to provide the features requested by the user. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles.
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except where a third-party service is necessary to provide a feature requested by the user, as described below.
4. AI Processing
AIAxon can use an AI service to generate a short memory scene from the scene placeholders or keywords you provide.
When you select Generate, the keywords/placeholders you provide are sent to our AI service provider for the purpose of generating the requested memory scene. AIAxon does not send your entire Google Sheet to the AI service for this feature.
The generated result is returned to AIAxon and can then be saved to your Google Sheet. The processing and retention of information by the AI service is subject to that provider’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
5. Bible Text Service
AIAxon uses the ESV API to retrieve Bible passages when you load a New Testament chapter. The selected book and chapter reference are sent to the ESV service to retrieve the requested passage.
AIAxon does not send your Google Account credentials or your private spreadsheet library to the ESV service.
6. Locations
AIAxon allows you to enter a familiar location, such as “My kitchen” or “My backyard”, and save it with a memory scene.
In the current version, these location names are stored in your Google Sheet. AIAxon does not collect your device's live GPS location.
If future versions introduce map or geolocation services, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are introduced.
7. Data Storage
AIAxon is designed so that your memorization workspace and saved library remain in your Google Sheet. We do not operate a separate AIAxon database containing your Bible study content.
Temporary processing may occur when information is sent to an external service to perform a requested function, such as retrieving a Bible passage or generating an AI memory scene.
8. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by third-party service providers only when necessary to provide a feature you request, including the services used to retrieve Bible text or generate AI scenes.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the AIAxon service. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
AIAxon is not specifically directed at children. Users should use the service in accordance with the age requirements and policies applicable to their Google Account and Google Workspace services.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the AIAxon service or its data practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
